Trader Monthly and Dealmaker magazines present the first Wall Street Boxing Summer Showdown. Traders, hedge fund managers and investment bankers will be lacing up their gloves in 8 USA Boxing-sanctioned bouts. The boxers are employed by New York’s financial services industry. Companies include: CitiGroup, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Oppenheimer, Smith Barney, Deutsche, NYMEX, Rockefeller & Co. and JPMorgan, and NYMEX as well as many other top Wall Street banks and trading firms.

Eight Olympic-style fights (three two-minute rounds), and the fighters, who have each earned a USA Boxing amateur card, are weight-class, age and skill matched. The bouts are judged by representatives from USA Boxing.

The completely sold-out event is being produced by Doubledown Media, publisher of Trader Monthly and Dealmaker magazines. The tickets ranged from a $5,000 ringside table of 10 down to $100 General Admission tickets. Additional sponsors of the event include Solaria Riverdale – luxury condos just minutes from Manhattan, www.SolariaRiverdale.com and fine timepiece innovator Milus, redefining luxury in a highly personal way, www.milus.com.

Celebrated boxing expert and pundit Bert Randolph Sugar will be the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
