PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION: the world's largest philanthropic source of support for prostate cancer research. The PCF has a single goal: To find better treatments and a cure for recurrent prostate cancer. Founded in 1993, the PCF has raised more than $300 million and provided funding to more than 1,400 researchers at 100 institutions worldwide.


SAY YES TO EDUCATION: a sponsorship and academic intervention program that works with inner-city students who are confronting educational and social challenges. Say Yes is committed to awarding last-dollar scholarships for post-secondary education on the condition that the students graduate from high school. The Say Yes promise is not just a scholarship to attend college. It is a comprehensive pledge to provide educational, emotional, social and medical support to enable every child in the program to achieve their educational potential.




TUESDAY’S CHILDREN: a non-profit family service organization founded by family and friends of September 11th victims has made a long term commitment to safeguard the health, happiness and future of both individual and family.




HEDGE FUNDS CARE: established in 1998, an alliance of hedge fund industry professionals committed to protecting children from abuse and neglect. The group includes money managers, investors, prime brokers, attorneys, accountants, and information providers.




NEW YORK MERCANTILE EXCHANGE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
: the philanthropic arm of the Exchange, distributing contributions by the Exchange, its traders, and staff, to educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs, primarily in the tri-state area. Madeline Boyd, Senior Vice President External Affairs NYMEX heads the committee as the chairman. Under her guidance, the Foundation has grown from an annual budget of $125,000 to more than $3 million in 2005. Through the Foundation's fund-raising drive, which was initiated by Ms. Boyd, thousands of inner-city children and those with special needs have been able to attend summer camp.
VALERIE FUND: established in 1976, provides support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. There are seven Valerie Fund Children's Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders located in major hospitals in the tri-state area, providing caring and comprehensive health care to more than 5,000 children and their families each year.
