Still More Blood In The Water Clearly, today was the day the newsharks were given the cue to start circling hedge funds in earnest, as a number of stories are cropping up at the same time. Though many hedge funds have been able to stay afloat during the subprime snafu by making canny bets on commodities and emerging-market stocks (while simultaneously shorting financials) we’re now increasingly seeing chinks in the armor of this particular strategy.
