Charities: Hedgies' Favorite Guise

Anyone else noticing this trend? In our experience, when hedge fund heavies pack the room, there’s no way a charity powwow won’t somehow turn into a wanton stock-tip fest. Just such a conference that ended late last week resulted in just such a fund frolic – and guess who was out there spilling their guts?
